What a word search maker does

A word search maker (sometimes called a word search generator) hides your words in a letter grid. MakePuzzle places each word across, down, and — if you leave the options on — diagonally and backwards, then fills the rest of the grid with random letters. You bring the word list; the maker builds a puzzle you can play in the browser or print.

That is different from downloading a generic worksheet.
